Bucket List

A bucket list is more than a tally of items to cross off for me, it is to write my wishes into a tangible goal, this list provides me a sense of direction and motivation, beyond the thrill of checking off an item, the process involve personal growth, pushing outside my comfort zone and introduces me to new skills, perspectives and new experiences that brings joy and meaning in my life.

Northern Lights

Northern Lights, south west Calgary. November 2025. 9.15 PM

In Kelly A. Turner’s book Radical Remission, I learned that many individuals who experienced remarkable recoveries maintained a bucket list. While most people in the book started their lists after completing treatment, I felt moved to start mine even though I was still in the middle of my journey. My very first item was to witness the Northern Lights, and over time, my list grew to include active milestones like walking a 5 km marathon or watching a comet. Below, I’ve shared a few photos of the adventures I’ve been able to check off so far.
